Prepare your ice cream machine according to the package instructions. I used a mini machine and had to freeze the bowl overnight or at least 24 hours.
In a medium bowl combinbe yogurt, pureed strawberries and simple syrup.
Add the yogurt base to the machine, cover and start churning. As the mixture is churning slowly add the chocoalte chips. Continue churning for about 15 to 20 minutes until a soft serve mixture forms. This is also dependant on your machine.
Serve right away or freeze for up to 30 minutes or an hour to firm up. Due to lack of fat and sugar the yogurt may not freeze well. Best eaten right away.
